About Katharina
Due to my bilingual upbringing, I have been very enthusiastic about languages from an early age. A 3-month stay abroad in Texas, USA, strengthened my decision to deal with English and languages in general. After successfully completing my doctorate in English language and linguistics at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, I would now like to use my linguistic skills in an even more targeted manner.

Depending on the person or group, I create a suitable concept. This depends on the respective language goal of the learner and the current level of knowledge.
I offer:
- Tutoring and language coaching in grades 5 to 13, including Abitur
- Coaching and support in writing academic seminar papers, bachelor and master theses for students
- Public speaking coaching to improve your oral presentations
- Business English
- Phonetic coaching to achieve the pronunciation of a native speaker
- Proof reading of scientific texts (e.g. dissertations, doctoral theses, articles for specialist journals)
- For students of linguistics / psychology: brainstorming research questions and scientific methods, as well as support with research proposals
- General language lessons for adults
- Help with writing your CV and cover letter in English
- Translations (in both directions)
I am also happy to accept individual inquiries.
The lessons take place online via Zoom, but can take place on site in the Landsberg am Lech or Munich district if required (for a surcharge).

- Bachelor and Master level: 1-on-1, from €30 (online €27); group from €25 (online €22,50)
- doctoral/postdoc level: 1-on-1 only: €35 (online €32.50)
- Proof reading and editing; based on workload; from €50
- Translations; based on workload; from €100
- Individual coaching in speaking and/or writing; 1-on-1, from €30 (online €27)
