About Latha
I’m delighted to share a glimpse of my journey as a mathematics educator. I have ten years of experience teaching the British curriculum, with seven years in India and the past three years in Dubai. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep passion for making mathematics meaningful and accessible for every learner. My teaching methodology focuses on conceptual understanding, inquiry-based learning, and real-life application. I believe students learn best when they can connect abstract ideas to practical situations — for example, exploring ratios through recipe adjustments or understanding linear graphs through daily temperature changes. I also ensure differentiation in my classroom through varied questioning, scaffolded tasks, and targeted support, so that every learner — whether advanced or developing — feels both challenged and successful. My approach to teaching mathematics is futuristic — integrating technology, problem-solving, and critical thinking to prepare students not just for exams, but for real-world challenges.
