Hello! I’m really passionate about maths and enjoy helping others get better at it. I want to tutor because I believe everyone can reach their full potential with the right support and guidance. I like explaining things in simple ways that make sense, and I’m patient and friendly in my approach. My Approach to Tutoring I believe learning maths should be clear, step-by-step, and tailored to each student’s needs. In my lessons, I break down tricky topics into simple, manageable parts, using examples and practice questions to build both understanding and confidence. I also share exam tips and techniques I used to achieve top grades myself. Lesson Structure Most lessons last 1 hour, though I’m happy to adapt to shorter or longer sessions depending on what suits you best. I start by checking what you already understand, then work through the topic together, finishing with practice questions so you can apply what you’ve learnt straight away. Qualifications & Experience I have completed Year 11 and will be starting my A-levels (Year 12) next year. I achieved Grade 9 in GCSE Maths in Year 9 and Grade 9 in Further Maths in Year 10. While I’m new to formal tutoring, I’ve helped friends and classmates prepare for their exams, and I understand how to explain topics in a way that makes sense to other students. Who My Lessons Are For I tutor students preparing for their GCSE Maths or Further Maths exams, typically ages 13–16. Whether you want to boost your grades, catch up on missed topics, or push for top marks, I can help you reach your goals. Lessons are delivered online, so you can learn from anywhere.
