About Isaac
My name is Isaac Osterreicher. I am a 22 year mathematician living in the English Lake District.
I studied maths at school getting some good grades:
GCSE: A*, Further Maths GCSE: A**, Advance Maths FSMQ: A
A Level: A*, Further Maths A Level: A*, STEP2: 3 , STEP3: 3
I failed to get into Cambridge university because of my STEP results but didn't let that stop me. The next year, I successfully applied to study Maths and Philosophy at Oxford. I got a first in my first year exams (Prelims) but ultimately didn't fit in so I dropped out after 1.5 years and found my place in the lake district (for now). I have since been studying Jung, Nietzsche and also coding websites and servers using JavaScript in my spare time. Throughout my studies, I have always helped my peers to understand difficult maths and at Oxford, I was my year's go to guru on formal logic.

I offer completely remote maths lessons to anyone at high school level. We will use Zoom video calls with a shared whiteboard to conduct lessons.
I offer services bespoke to your own needs and goals. I will explain material to you using the shared whiteboard in the context of solving a particular problems similar to those which will realistically come up in your exams. Once I have shown you how to solve a particular problem, I will ask you to guide me through solving variations of that problem until you are confident. If you would like extra practise, I will set you problems to complete in your own time, which I will then mark for you and we can discuss your solutions next lesson.
