About Shantel
Hi! I’m a current Biomedical Science student at Monash University with a strong passion for teaching and over four years of experience tutoring Mathematics. I’ve worked with students from Prep to Year 10 and understand that every learner has unique strengths, challenges, and ways of understanding math. That’s why I take a personalized, patient, and encouraging approach to every lesson. I structure my online lessons to be clear, interactive, and goal-oriented, using trusted resources like Cambridge and Jacaranda textbooks while adapting to whatever suits you best. With a current Working With Children Check and a commitment to professionalism, I strive to create a safe and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive.

I typically use trusted resources such as the Cambridge and Jacaranda textbooks to guide my lessons, but I am more than happy to incorporate other materials provided by schools or preferred by families.
Each lesson is 1 hour, conducted online for convenience, but I am always happy to adjust lesson times to meet your needs. I also hold a current Working With Children Check.
