About Carolina

Hi, I’m Carolina, a singer and online singing teacher and vocal coach!

I’ve been singing since I was 13, and I trained with different teachers while studying Musical Theatre. I also studied Speech Therapy, which gave me a deep understanding of how the voice works, so I can help you sing in a way that feels healthy, free and comfortable.

For over 10 years, I’ve been teaching singing online to students from all over the world, including the UK, Italy, Canada, India, Norway and Croatia.

☆ My main goal is to help you feel confident and discover your own voice. ☆

Singing is personal, and it can feel vulnerable to sing in front of someone else. I know how much patience, encouragement and a safe space matter. In my lessons, you can make mistakes, ask anything and go at your own pace. When we feel safe to explore, technique and confidence grow together.

My lessons are especially great for adults who:
• enjoy practising and want to see real progress
• want to feel more confident singing in front of others
• want to sing any style (pop, musical theatre, soul, whatever you love)
• without straining their voice

Whether you sing professionally, for auditions or just for yourself, I’d love to help you on your journey!

How my lessons work:

Every student has different goals, experience and musical tastes, so every lesson is personalised. Whether it’s your very first lesson, an audition or a new level of technique, we’ll work at a pace that feels right for you.

I help you understand how your voice works, so you can sing with more ease, progress faster and enjoy every step.

In our lessons, we might work on:
• Healthy, strain-free vocal technique
• Breath support
• Pitch and intonation
• Vocal range
• Song interpretation and expression
• Performance skills and confidence

You’ll also leave each lesson with simple exercises to practise, so you can feel yourself improving week by week.

Whether you want to sing for fun, perform with confidence or simply enjoy music more, I’d love to help you get there.

When did you first develop a passion for music and your favourite instrument?
I was 12 when I realised that singing was something that I couldn't miss in my everyday life. I remember being in my room, searching the songs I liked on the internet and singing at the same time as the singers did, trying to learn the phrases and melodies. But….. It took me a year to start singing lessons because I was really shy. Now that I look back I'm happy to have taken the risk!
Is there a particular type of music or artist that you listen to on a loop without it driving you crazy?
I don't think I have a favourite artist of any genre. My playlists are made up of a wide variety of songs, most of them are jazz and pop songs, but I also enjoy some country, rap and musicals!
What do you think is the most complicated instrument to master and why?
I think all instruments (including our voice of course) have their complexity. Singing requires skills such as ear training and a developed sense of proprioception, and awareness of the body. It also requires patience. The vocal cords are made of muscles and ligaments, so just like athletes, it takes time and consistency to train them.
What are your keys to success?
I would say that for me, the keys to success are patience, consistency, and love for what you do and your own way of doing it. Having a good technique is important but the emotional part is fundamental too. Learning to manage feelings such as frustration, embarrassment and discouragement is something I try to teach my students. At the end of the day, what truly matters is having a good time and enjoying what they do.
Name three musicians you dream of meeting in your favourite bar in the early hours of the morning. Explain why.
Three musicians I would love to meet are the band Coldplay, Taylor Swift and Celine Dion. I consider all of them very talented and I admire their music careers. I think they represent the values I believe in, effort, patience and kindness.
Provide a valuable anecdote related to music or your days at music school.
In one of my first live performances, I was so nervous that I forgot the lyrics of the song…so I repeated the same phrase again and again until I could remember the final part of the song!
What are the little touches that make you a Superprof in music?
Well, I think this question should be answered by my students but I think that what could make me a SuperProf in singing is that I enjoy my job and I try my best by continuing to study and learning how to be a better teacher.
