About Phoebe

I'm a TEFL-qualified English teacher and IELTS specialist based in Sydney, Australia, with over 20 years of experience helping ESL learners achieve their language and career goals.

Over the years, I have successfully coached students targeting IELTS scores from Band 4.5 to Band 7.5+ for migration, university admission, professional registration, and career advancement. My particular strengths are IELTS Writing and Speaking, where many students struggle to make progress on their own.

About the lesson

I focus on practical, results-driven IELTS preparation rather than memorizing templates. My lessons teach students how examiners actually assess Writing and Speaking, helping them improve clarity, structure, vocabulary, and confidence. Lessons are highly interactive and include real exam practice, personalized feedback, proven writing frameworks, speaking strategies, and targeted correction based on each student's strengths and weaknesses.
