About Meriem
I am an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT), qualified to teach Mathematics and Physics at the Intermediate and Senior levels, and I hold a PhD in Civil Engineering.
I have several years of teaching experience in Canada, including teaching at the post-secondary level in Civil Engineering Technology. My academic and professional background allows me to combine strong subject knowledge with practical, real-world examples that make complex concepts easier to understand.
I am fluent in both French and English and can teach students in either language. I also offer French tutoring for students of all grade levels.
As an educator, I am patient, organized, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my explanations and teaching strategies to each learner’s needs, pace, and goals.
Whether a student wants to strengthen foundational skills, improve grades, prepare for an exam, or gain confidence in Mathematics, Physics, or French, my goal is to help them achieve measurable progress and become more confident, independent learners.

My lessons are personalized to each student’s level, learning style, and goals. I focus on making difficult concepts clear and accessible through step-by-step explanations, practical examples, guided practice, and targeted exercises.
I offer tutoring in Mathematics and Physics, as well as French for students of all grade levels. Whether a student needs help understanding a difficult concept, improving grades, preparing for a test or exam, completing assignments, or building stronger foundations, I adapt each lesson to their specific needs.
My approach is patient, structured, and interactive. I first identify the student’s strengths and areas for improvement, then develop a learning plan that builds both understanding and confidence. My goal is not simply to provide answers, but to help students understand the reasoning and become increasingly independent learners.
Lessons are available online and can be adapted for elementary, high school, college, and adult learners depending on the subject.
