About Laia

I'm a young adult and university student who is passionate about learning and teaching.

I've seen many students frustrated by a feeling of powerlessness whether it comes to learning a language, or passing exams and hence I feel a strong desire to help anyone (no matter their age) maximise their potential with only the right tools and support.

My mission is to transform the process of learning for students, from a daunting endeavour to something that is fascinating as well as fun and which likewise yields achievable results.

About the lesson

I'm happy to offer hour-long lessons
I am able to offer tutoring support to:
students learning English as a second/foreign language
GCSE students looking to improve their grades in Spanish, French, English, History, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Maths
A level students particularly who study Spanish (I'm a native speaker)
Primary school students who for instance want to learn Spanish
My methodology has been built through experience of teaching children, teenagers and adults alike, as well as the techniques I learnt through my CELTA course
I provide a friendly and approachable dynamic in lessons, effective explanations informed by my knowledge and perception of the students' strengths and weaknesses as well as expertise on how to progress as a student and assimilate information in the long run.
