About Mary Katherine
I am a girl who loves chemistry and loves people. I have been teaching Organic Chemistry inside and outside the lab ever since completing the courses three years ago at the University of Georgia. Since then, I have worked tightly with some Organic Chemistry faculty to learn chemistry pedagogy and brainstorm ways to present this difficult material in an understandable and encouraging way.
I prioritize creating a warm, energetic environment where you are comfortable discussing the parts of your course material that are confusing. My hope is that my students walk away with better grades and more confidence in themselves! Chemistry can be intimidating, but it is a "conquerable beast!"
