About Janelle
Precision drives my teaching style. I approach chemistry as a physician views a patient chart. After 2.0 years of tutoring, I have helped many students grasp complex carbonyl chemistry, synthesis pathways, and IUPAC nomenclature.
SN1 and SN2 reactions become logical once you see them through a clinical lens. I explain isomerism, elimination reactions, alcohols and ethers, NMR spectroscopy, and carboxylic acids with this same focus. It is satisfying to see students finally connect these dots after working with me.
