About Amber
I have a PhD in organic chemistry and have taught at the university level for over 10 years. I have taught class sizes of as small as 20 people and as large as 400 people. I also have experience with one-on-one tutoring.

My lessons are fun and aim to make organic chemistry easy to understand. Many instructors make it seem harder than it really is.
I provide lots of helpful tips, tricks, and shortcuts. I also provide reaction summary sheets, mechanism summary and guidance sheets, flow charts, and other helpful handouts by topic.I provide study strategies tailored to each individual student, which are adjusted over time depending on how each strategy is working.
My favorite thing about teaching is taking a difficult subject, one that many people are scared of, and teaching it in a way that gives people confidence in their ability to master the subject.
