I bring a strong mix of teaching experience, proven academic success, and real research training to every tutoring session. I graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Biology and Chemistry. My Tutoring Approach:
--> I teach organic chemistry in a way that actually makes sense. My goal is to take the messy, overwhelming parts of orgo and turn them into clear, simple ideas you can recognize on exams and use with confidence.
How I Teach:
--> I explain concepts using real examples, visuals, and step by step breakdowns instead of memorizing pages of notes. I use what I learned from tutoring, TA work, and hands on lab experience to show you how reactions work in real life, not just in your textbook. I want you to understand the why behind every mechanism so you can solve problems on your own.
What a Typical Lesson Looks Like:
-->You can expect a detailed, custom lesson built around whatever concepts you are struggling with. I create a personalized PowerPoint style mini lecture tailored to your course so we can restate, refine, and clarify every part of the material. We work through practice problems together, talk through mistakes, and take plenty of time for questions until everything clicks. I also help with homework questions, problem sets, lab reports, and exam prep. If you have a test coming up, I make specialized study guides and run focused review sessions designed around how your professor writes exams.
