About Marcus Vinicius
Hi, I’m Dr. Marcus Vinicius! I am currently an Organic Chemistry Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Cambridge, having earned my PhD in Organic Chemistry from Yale University.
Over the course of 5 semesters at Yale, I taught General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry Lectures, and Organic Chemistry Labs. This means I’ve seen firsthand exactly where students struggle—whether it’s transitioning from the maths of gen chem to the spatial visualisation of o-chem, or trying to figure out why a synthesis reaction failed in the lab.
I don't believe in brute-force memorisation. My teaching philosophy centres on pattern recognition and understanding the 'why' behind electron movement. Whether you are a pre-med student aiming for a top MCAT score, an undergraduate trying to survive a weed-out course, or looking for guidance on lab theory and reports, I can give you the Ivy League and Oxbridge-level framework to master the subject.
