About Prescott
I am a dedicated piano tutor with more than 7 years of experience teaching students from school, college, and professional backgrounds. I enjoy helping students improve their skills and confidence in music.
My teaching method focuses on communication, flexibility, and structured learning. I customise my lessons based on each student’s level and goals. I focus on building strong basics before moving to advanced techniques.
Along with piano, I teach music theory, rhythm practice, and ear training. These subjects help students gain a deeper understanding of music. I include simple exercises and song practice.
My unique skill is breaking down complex topics into easy steps. I help students improve their consistency, technique, and confidence. I also guide them in effective practice routines.
I aim to create a friendly and motivating environment. My goal is to make piano learning enjoyable and meaningful.

I follow a creative and student-centred teaching methodology that focuses on each learner’s growth and musical expression. I believe piano lessons should be engaging, inspiring, and tailored to the student’s abilities and goals. Through open communication, I learn about each student’s interests, strengths, and challenges, enabling me to design lessons that are both effective and enjoyable.
Creativity is a key part of my approach. I encourage students to improvise, compose original music, and explore different musical styles. Flexibility allows me to adapt lessons to the student’s pace, level, and preferred learning style, ensuring that progress is steady and learning is stress-free.
In addition to piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm, and ear training. This comprehensive approach strengthens technical proficiency while fostering musical understanding and artistic expression. My goal is to nurture confident, expressive, and passionate musicians who enjoy exploring and performing music.
