I am an experienced mathematics tutor and computer programmer with a passion for helping students achieve their academic and personal goals. With several years of tutoring experience, I specialise in teaching maths from beginner level up to Grade 12, as well as programming for beginners and intermediate learners. I hold a strong background in both technology and education, and I take pride in breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable lessons. As a professional programmer and experienced maths tutor, I take a personalised and student-centred approach to every lesson. I believe in building a solid foundation first, especially in subjects like mathematics and programming, where each concept builds on the last.
My teaching method is interactive and practical. I use real-life examples, problem-solving techniques, and exercises to help students understand not just how, but why concepts work. For programming, I focus on hands-on coding projects that improve logic and build confidence.
A typical lesson lasts 40 to 60 minutes, depending on the student's needs and attention span. I provide regular assessments and feedback to track progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly.
I hold a professional background in computer programming and have several years of experience tutoring both maths and coding. I also teach Grade 1 to Grade 10 students, as well as adults looking to build foundational maths or programming skills.
