About Adam
I have been a qualified teacher for 10 years, and qualified with a degree in Secondary Maths Education. My degree enabled me to master the art of teaching and encouraged me to ensure my teachins is research informed so that I produce the highest quality lessons and resources for all that I teach.

Over 10 years teaching experience, delivering outstanding teaching centred on cutting edge research with proven impact for pupils of all abilities.
Tutoring Approach
Over the past 10 years I have refined my teaching to create a unique teaching and learning framework that is designed to take advantage of the high impact strategies from the Education Endowment Foundation. The strategies include spaced practise, retrieval quizzes, interleaving of key skills and taking advantage of the hypercorrection effect to improve retention of topics taught. My unique approach has been instrumental in improving results for school across Oldham and Stockport and has resulted in my current role as Lead Practitioner of Maths.
All sessions will include tailored resources, personalised homework, marking and parental feedback.

Adam did an excellent job at making my daughter enjoy maths and improved her grade from a 3 to a 6 in less than a year!!!
Nothing was too much trouble and he also offered to do extra sessions in the holidays between the exams!Adam spent almost 2 years tutoring my youngest son after he was really struggling with maths at school. He was targeted a grade 4 but only got a grade 1 in his year 10. When Adam started tutoring my son he assessed the work he needed to do and built up his confidence. My son says he made it easy to take the exam and the result speaks for itself.
