About Lou
For over 12 years, I have been helping students build strong vocal skills and achieve their musical goals. I teach Singing to School students, College students, and Working Professionals, providing lessons that are carefully designed to meet individual learning needs.
My teaching approach combines technical instruction, creativity, and confidence-building. I believe that learning Singing should be both enjoyable and rewarding. Therefore, I create personalised lesson plans that allow students to develop at their own pace while maintaining steady progress.
My classes focus on vocal warm-ups, breathing control, pitch accuracy, rhythm development, tone quality, diction, and stage presence. I use practical demonstrations, guided practice, and performance opportunities to help students gain hands-on experience. Regular evaluations ensure that learners continue improving and achieving their goals.
Besides Singing, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Coaching, and Performance Skills. These complementary subjects provide students with a complete understanding of music and help them become more versatile performers. I also emphasise healthy vocal habits and effective practice techniques.
My mission is to inspire students to believe in their abilities and enjoy every stage of their musical journey. Through patience, encouragement, and expert guidance, I help learners become confident and expressive singers.

My teaching methodology for Singing is built around flexibility, creativity, understanding, and effective time management. I believe that every student has the potential to become a confident singer when they are guided with patience, encouragement, and the right techniques. My lessons are designed to help students enjoy the learning process while steadily improving their vocal abilities.
I begin by understanding each student's goals, musical preferences, and current skill level. This allows me to create personalised lesson plans that support individual growth. Whether a student is learning for personal enjoyment, school performances, competitions, or professional development, I adapt my teaching approach to suit their needs.
Creativity is an important part of every lesson. I use vocal exercises, song interpretation, listening activities, and performance practice to keep students engaged and motivated. These activities help students develop both technical skills and artistic confidence.
My lessons focus on breathing techniques, pitch accuracy, rhythm, tone quality, diction, vocal control, and stage presence. Students learn how to apply these skills effectively in songs and performances.
Understanding and patience help create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning and expressing themselves. I encourage students to embrace challenges and view mistakes as opportunities for growth.
Time management ensures that every lesson is productive and organised. Sessions include warm-ups, technical training, song work, and progress evaluation.
Besides Singing, I can also teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight Singing, Vocal Health, and Performance Skills. My goal is to help students become confident and expressive singers who enjoy their musical journey.
