About Tabitha
Hi, I’m Tabitha, a Cambridge Medicine graduate who has successfully navigated both MMI interviews (King’s College London) and Oxbridge-style interviews (Cambridge). I know firsthand how competitive medical school admissions can be, and I’m passionate about helping students stand out and succeed by developing strong applications and interview skills. I provide structured, engaging tutoring to help students craft compelling personal statements that highlight their strengths, experiences, and motivation for medicine. I focus on refining structure, improving clarity, and ensuring each statement reflects genuine passion and insight that catches an admissions tutor’s attention. With my experience, I help students avoid common pitfalls and craft a personal statement that is both unique and impactful. For interview preparation, I use my experience with both MMI and Oxbridge interviews to help students develop confidence, critical thinking, and strong communication skills. I offer mock interviews, personalised feedback, and tailored coaching to ensure students feel prepared for ethical scenarios, role-play stations, data interpretation, problem-solving, and academic discussions. My approach is highly interactive and student-led, helping candidates develop the ability to think on their feet and articulate responses clearly under pressure. I love teaching because I know how transformative the right guidance can be. Medical school admissions are daunting, but with the right preparation, they become a manageable and even rewarding challenge. My goal is to equip students with the skills, strategies, and confidence to secure their dream medical school offers and take the next step in their journey to becoming doctors.

Crafting a compelling personal statement is one of the most important steps in securing a medical school offer. I provide detailed, structured editing to help students refine their writing, ensuring their statement is engaging, well-structured, and tailored to each university’s expectations. I focus on highlighting unique experiences, strong motivations, and a clear understanding of medicine, helping students stand out in a highly competitive pool. For interview preparation, I draw from my own experiences interviewing for King’s College London (MMI format) and the University of Cambridge (Oxbridge-style interviews). These two styles require very different approaches, and I help students develop the skills needed to think critically, articulate ideas clearly, and confidently tackle ethical scenarios, data interpretation, and role-play stations. My lessons include mock interviews, personalised feedback, and targeted coaching on how to structure answers, demonstrate insight, and handle difficult questions under pressure. Whether you are preparing for an MMI, panel, or Oxbridge-style interview, I will tailor sessions to your strengths and areas for improvement, helping you build the confidence to excel. If you're aiming for top medical schools, let’s work together to craft a standout personal statement and perfect your interview technique!

Perfect! Tabitha is a tutor who truly cares and inspires perseverance. When every other tutor told me to give up, she was the one who said no- you can do this. She promised to stand by me and guide me through my application, and she kept that promise from start to finish.
She supported me with so much patience and kindness, always listening carefully and explaining everything in detail, word for word, until i understood. She never made me feel stupid for asking questions, instead encouraged and uplifted me. She has a special way of teaching that builds your confidence and makes you want to keep going no matter how hard it gets.
She is one of the biggest reasons i didn't give up. She is a tutor- an inspiration, and I'll always be grateful for her guidance and belief in me.
Thank you, Tabitha.View more reviews

Excellent tutor! Tabitha is excellent! She is very reliable and has been a fantastic support. She understands medicine and the fundamentals of medicine (biology and chemistry) extremely well - she is a true role model. Fully recommend her!
I've known Tabitha for four years, and she has all it takes to be an amazing tutor. She's extremely organized and pays great attention to detail - as I've seen her prepare for exams, with detailed notes and intuitions so clearly explained that things became obvious even to a non-medic like myself. She also has strong leadership competences, which she showed as a captain of a college sports team, and is overall an extremely kind, attentive and empathetic person.
No wonder she's so sought after as a tutor!I worked with Tabitha for clinical exam preparation. She was very organised, structured, easy to work with and helped me to improve my skills.

Tabitha is great! I had her as a tutor for my GCSEs and A-levels in Biology and Chemistry. You could tell she really cared about my progress. She takes her time to explain key concepts and always makes sure I’ve understood the contents covered in a topic before moving on. She took me from a B grade to an A in Chemistry + an A* in Biology. She’s fantastic! You’ll be in great hands.
