About Sebastian
I am a recent Chemistry graduate (MChem) from the University of Oxford (Exeter College).
Being the only one from my state school cohort to go to OxBridge, I am aware of what is required to make your UCAS application stand out. My teaching style encourages independent thought, and is a low pressure environment which allows critical thinking to flourish. Tutoring is enjoyable for me as it is rewarding to help conquer problems with the tutee, and see confidence grow over the lessons.
Having recently come through the education system, and understanding the stresses it places on students I believe that I am equipped to help with any difficulties students might face, and all to a high academic standard.

I have found that optimum lesson-length is 30-60mins which allows for discussion beyond the curriculum.
My teaching style has grown from my experience of Oxford tutorials, and encourage independent thought. I develop an environment where growth is rewarded which allows critical thinking to flourish. Tutoring is enjoyable for me as it is rewarding to help conquer problems with the tutee, and see confidence grow over the lessons.
I am adaptable to different students' needs, and provide a framework for support that can be relied on outside of the tutoring sessions.
