About Bartlomiej

Hey! I am a Master's scholar in Philosophical Theology at the University of Oxford. I also did my undergrad there, in Philosophy and Theology. I love philosophy, but I also really like writing and maths (both come useful in philosophy!), so I can tutor in a number of different subjects.

For My A-Levels, I did maths, economics, and religious studies. I developed my own revision techniques, one for STEM, and one for everything else. It served me well thus far, and I am sure that you could also find it helpful! I also helped with the interviews at Oxford and used to do ambassador work for Oxford, so I am quite familiar with the university application process.

I have already worked as a teaching assistant at a Saturday school and as a maths tutor for a few years, but besides that, I always enjoyed explaining things to my friends and colleagues. I even remember that back in sixth form my philosophy teacher had me run the revision sessions in her absence!

Besides my studies, I am a big football fan. I play football at university and I follow the Premier League, Serie A, the Bundesliga, and international football.

I like to be flexible with my lessons to suit them to the student's needs. Whether you need me to guide you through some difficult homework, revise for an exam, or explain something you missed in lesson, I can be of help. I think the best revision is practice, so my preference is for guided work. I can also help with soft skills, like writing and exam technique.
