About Michelle
I competed in speech in debate for over 6 years in the US. My competitive highlights include: ranked 5th in the nation for Parliamentary Debate, ranked 2nd in Extemporaneous Speaking during preliminaries at the National Speech and Debate Tournament, finalist in Extemporaneous Speaking at the California State Tournament, & many more. I worked as a professional speech and debate coach during the summer of 2017, and spent many more years coaching on an unofficial basis. I am currently reading PPE at Oxford.

I am open to coach both competitively (for students competing in speech and debate tournaments) and on a general basis. After 6 years of training, I've learned to work on all aspects of public speaking and argumentation. My teaching method focuses heavily on participation-based, engaging speaking drills. We'll hone in on your weak areas and improve them through targeted drills with constant one-on-one feedback.
