About Yung
I'm Verena and I'm from Austria where I studied teacher education with the subjects English and French. I currently am pursuing my Bachelor's degree in English studies at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, this is my last semester. I have already been working as a language teacher since 2017 teaching English, German, Spanish and French to kids of all ages as well as to teenagers and adults. Due to my experience of having taught large groups as well as private one-to-one classes, I am especially good at adapting to my students' needs and providing them with tailored material that guarantees their progress in their target language. I teach general and conversational English at all levels and have a neutral North-American accent. As I study English at university and have already written various thesis papers, I would also love to help you with English for academic purposes, business English or prepare you for an upcoming exam.

I would describe myself as a language enthusiast which is why I understand the importance of having someone by your side providing support and guidance through the confusing world of grammar and everything else that comes with learning a language. I strongly believe in using a methodology that does not only focus on learning grammar, but also learning another culture, which includes reaching a good level of natural speech which will make you feel confident when speaking to natives of English.
