About Simran

I'm Simran, a dedicated sixth form student currently studying English Literature, Politics, and Sociology. I have a strong passion for English, particularly in analysing texts, exploring deeper meanings, and developing thoughtful, high-level interpretations.

I understand what it’s like to be a student navigating exams and coursework, which is why I focus not only on improving grades but also on building confidence and independent thinking. I believe that every student is capable of achieving top results with the right guidance and support.

My goal as a tutor is to make English feel more accessible and engaging, while helping students develop the skills needed to succeed academically. I am particularly interested in helping students refine their essay writing, structure strong arguments, and approach texts with originality and depth.

I’m committed, patient, and genuinely invested in helping my students reach their full potential.

About the lesson

My lessons are engaging, supportive, and completely tailored to each student. I create a comfortable environment where students feel confident expressing their ideas, asking questions, and developing their skills without pressure.

Each session is structured but flexible, focusing on the student’s individual goals—whether that’s improving essay writing, analysing texts, or building confidence for exams. I break down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps, making English feel more accessible and even enjoyable.

I place a strong emphasis on critical thinking and independent interpretation, helping students go beyond basic answers and develop insightful, high-level responses. At the same time, I ensure we regularly practise exam-style questions and techniques so students feel fully prepared and confident.

Most importantly, my lessons are encouraging and motivating. I genuinely want my students to succeed, and I work closely with them to help them reach their full potential.
