About Cobus
I am a native Afrikaans speaker with over 15 years of professional experience in administration, customer service, logistics, accounts support, and operations. I am fluent in both Afrikaans and English and enjoy helping others learn through clear communication and practical examples. My patient and supportive teaching style helps students build confidence while developing their speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills. I am passionate about language, culture, and helping learners achieve their personal, academic, or professional goals in a comfortable and encouraging environment.

As a native Afrikaans speaker, I believe language learning should be practical, engaging, and confidence-building. My teaching approach focuses on real-life communication, pronunciation, vocabulary development, and conversational skills. I create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning at their own pace. What makes me unique is my ability to explain Afrikaans in a simple, easy-to-understand way while incorporating authentic expressions and cultural insights that native speakers use every day.

I am fluent in both Afrikaans and English and can teach Afrikaans to English-speaking students. I can explain grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and language concepts clearly in either language.

Lessons may include conversation practice, pronunciation exercises, vocabulary building, grammar explanations, reading comprehension, and practical everyday situations.
