About Jessica
Jessica is a highly skilled Oboe and English horn performer and music educator with over a decade of experience in the field. She holds a Master’s in Musical Performance from the Don Wright Faculty of Music at the University of Western Ontario.
Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, Jessica also earned a Bachelor of Musical Studies from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and a Master’s in Musical Research from the International University of La Rioja, Spain, showcasing her commitment to both performance and academic excellence.
As a versatile performer, Jessica has established a vibrant career as a freelance orchestral musician, performing with various ensembles across both Canada and Colombia. Her artistry has taken her to several prestigious music festivals. This rich professional background informs her deep understanding of orchestral repertoire and the demands of high-level performance.
