About Jade

I am a passionate and expressive teacher who truly loves helping students grow and succeed. Teaching is more than just a job for me — it’s something I genuinely enjoy, especially when I see my students gain confidence and start to understand the language in their own unique way.

I bring a positive, enthusiastic energy into every lesson and believe that learning should be an interactive and enjoyable experience. I love engaging with my students, encouraging participation, and creating a space where they feel comfortable asking questions and expressing themselves freely.

I take pride in being patient, supportive, and professional at all times. I understand that every student learns differently, and I always adapt my approach to suit their individual needs and goals. My aim is not only to help students improve their Afrikaans, but also to build their confidence and make them feel proud of their progress.

About the lesson

I am a fun, energetic Afrikaans teacher who believes that learning a language should be exciting, interactive, and enjoyable. My teaching approach focuses on creating a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel confident to participate, make mistakes, and grow.

I use a variety of educational games, creative activities, and real-life examples to keep lessons dynamic and engaging. This interactive style helps students stay motivated while improving their speaking, reading, and writing skills naturally. I adapt each lesson to suit the individual student’s pace, goals, and learning style, ensuring that every session is both effective and enjoyable.

I am proficient in both Afrikaans and English, which allows me to explain concepts clearly and support students who are still building their confidence in Afrikaans.

In a typical lesson, students can expect a mix of conversation practice, structured exercises, and fun activities designed to reinforce what they’ve learned. I focus on building strong foundations while also encouraging practical use of the language in everyday situations.

My lessons are suitable for learners of all levels — from beginners who are just starting out, to more advanced students looking to improve their fluency, confidence, and academic performance. I also work well with school learners who need extra support, as well as adults wanting to learn or improve their Afrikaans for personal or professional reasons.

She will tailor her classes to the Exact needs of her students, and no task is too hard or complicated for her to figure out. She uses whole brain teaching in her classes and focusses on individual students needs. I would highly reccomend her to teach your child/yourself, English and Afrikaans.
