I specialize in lessons for elementary level students. I grew up playing numerous percussion instruments and offering lessons throughout college. I am not a professional musician but I have years of teaching experience in a variety of extracurricular subjects and specialize in inspiring a love of music for your child! I am very flexible with rates but you must have either your own practice pad/snare or alternatively somewhere to practice! I begin with the fundamentals for every new student. We first start with learning to count, then move on to rudiments, then putting it all together! The basics can often be boring for young people so I make it as fun as possible by personalizing the lessons based on what music they like!
