About Adam
Having a deep love for piano and music education, I work with students to develop both skill and artistic expression. I hold Master’s degrees in Music, which provide a solid foundation in theory and performance. I have experience teaching beginners, intermediate learners, and advanced students preparing for exams and recitals. My lessons are student-focused, engaging, and personalised to each individual’s goals and abilities. I use real-life examples and case studies to help students understand rhythm, melody, and harmony in a practical and relatable way. Motivation is central to my teaching, and I encourage students to set goals, track achievements, and celebrate progress.
Problem-solving is incorporated into lessons to strengthen independent thinking and analytical skills. I emphasise integrity, creating a respectful, supportive, and honest learning environment. I am flexible, adjusting lessons to suit each student’s pace, skill level, and learning style. Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and basic composition to provide a well-rounded musical education. I prepare students for exams, recitals, and performances while fostering creativity, confidence, and discipline. Lessons are available online or in-person for learners of all ages. I focus on building technical skills, expressive playing, and lifelong appreciation for music. Every lesson is structured, enjoyable, and motivating. My ultimate goal is to help students develop into confident, skilled, and passionate musicians.

My teaching methodology focuses on practical learning, motivation, and personal progress. I emphasise motivation, encouraging students to set goals and celebrate accomplishments to build confidence and enthusiasm. Problem-solving is an essential part of lessons, helping students think critically and tackle challenges independently.
I teach with integrity, providing a supportive, honest, and respectful learning environment. I am flexible, adapting lessons to each student’s pace, age, and objectives. I also cover music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and basic composition. Lessons can be conducted online or in-person, suitable for beginners, intermediate learners, and advanced students. My aim is to help students play skilfully, understand music deeply, and enjoy the learning process.
