About Shreyash
I'm an undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. I am innately curious about the world and am interested in learning about everything I see around me. My child-like curiosity is still alive and it helps me navigate the world through a more profound lens. It also helps me understand how other students think and look at the world as I try to understand how the world changes simply based on perception. I could spend hours on end reading about philosophy, space and evolution. Those are the three things I could talk endlessly about. I also like coding and am very interested in the latest developments in AI and want to be a creator and contributor to this technology. I'm also very easy to talk to. I entertain conversations of any kind and I am an open book. I think being able to speak openly is incredibly important when teaching or learning.

My teaching method is student-centric, focusing on the individual needs and learning styles of each student. I believe in fostering a deep understanding of the subject matter, rather than merely providing solutions. I believe the best way to learn something and commit it to long-term memory is to arrive at the conclusion yourself through critical thinking. What sets me apart as a tutor is that I am a student as well and I have a strong understanding of what works for me and what doesn't. I am also a teaching assistant for a programming course so I do have experience teaching concepts I have just learned. I can apply this filtered understanding of the world and make sure learning something is not a painful endeavour rather an enjoyable one. My lessons are for students in high school and also university freshmen.
