About Martin
I became a teacher because I believe every student deserves to feel confident, capable, and excited about learning. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student overcome a challenge, develop new skills, and realize their own potential. As a tutor, I aim to create a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable taking risks, asking questions, and celebrating their progress. My goal is not only to improve academic outcomes but to help students build a lifelong confidence and enjoyment of English and learning.

Hi, I’m Martin — a passionate and VIT-registered primary teacher with 7 years of classroom experience across Foundation to Year 6. I specialise in making English enjoyable, engaging, and personalised for every learner. With extensive experience teaching reading, writing, spelling, grammar, and oral language through the Victorian Curriculum, I use a supportive, confidence-building approach to help students strengthen their skills and achieve their goals. Whether your child needs extra support, extension, or simply a boost in confidence, I create tailored lessons that make learning meaningful, positive, and fun.
