About Billy
Hi! I'm Billy, a passionate biology tutor with a strong interest in science and helping students build confidence in the subject. Biology has always been my strongest and favourite subject, and I have experience supporting other students through my role as Biology Ambassador.
I enjoy making lessons engaging, approachable, and tailored to each student's learning style. My goal is to not only help students improve their grades, but also to genuinely understand and enjoy biology rather than simply memorising facts.

I offer friendly and engaging biology lessons tailored to each student's individual learning style and goals. My tutoring approach focuses on breaking down complex topics into simple, understandable concepts while building confidence and encouraging curiosity about the subject.
Lessons are typically one hour long, though I can fit any time frame, and can cover a wide range of topics, including GCSE and A-Level Biology, exam preparation, revision techniques, and general subject understanding. I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their scientific thinking.
I achieved strong results in Biology throughout school and college and continued studying the subject at university level, where I also led and organised a Biology society and previously worked as a Biology ambassador supporting other students in their learning.
My lessons are suitable for secondary school and college students of varying abilities, whether they need help catching up, boosting grades, or developing a deeper interest in biology.
