I’m Rakshita, a passionate and reliable Biology tutor currently pursuing my MBBS degree. With over 3 years of tutoring experience and an active research background in Biology and Human Health, I bring both academic depth and real-world context to my lessons. Teaching Methodology & Techniques: I believe that understanding concepts deeply is more valuable than memorising facts. I use a student-centred approach that involves: - Breaking down complex topics into simple, relatable explanations - Using visual aids, diagrams, and real-life examples (especially from my medical background) - Encouraging active recall, MCQs, and past paper practice - Providing summarised revision notes, mind maps, and flashcards - Regular progress checks and student feedback sessions - I adapt my teaching style based on each student’s learning preference to make sessions interactive and personalised. Lesson Duration & Format - Typical session: 1 hour (60 minutes) - Longer 90-minute sessions available before exams - Conducted via Zoom or Google Meet, with screen-sharing, whiteboard, and PDF notes - Homework help and topic-specific crash courses available Qualifications & Experience: - Currently pursuing MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) - 3+ years of experience teaching Biology to high school students, both online and offline - I’m also a researcher in Biology and Human Health, actively working on projects related to Infectious diseases, Nutritional science, Probiotics and gut health, Nanobiotechnology (plant-based nanoparticle synthesis) - I’ve presented research and won many best presenter awards at national and international conferences, and continue to publish in peer-reviewed journals — which allows me to bring current scientific knowledge directly into my classes.
