Erica has been teaching my daughter from the age of about 7 to now when she is 10 years old and facing 11+ entrance. I originally appointed Erica not because my daughter was struggling but because I did not think that she was fully engaged or performing at school. Erica has completely changed that by delivering thoughtful and creative but rigorous lessons. She has managed to keep the lessons enjoyable and has brought the subject alive for my daughter whilst not compromising on structure, discipline and the more formal aspects. Almost tutoring by stealth... My daughter is very fond of Erica. She sees her as a friend and ally and looks forward to sessions with her (as much as would be normal for a 10 y.o.)! Erica's enthusiasm and undoubted talents in the subject allow her to engage with students and stimulate their curiosity. These are invaluable and somewhat rare skills at at time when the education system can seem too pressurised and factory-like at the expense of creativity and enjoyment.

Erica tutored my son on English. His work has become highly imaginative, better structured and he is excelling in English. Erica was part of nurturing his imagination whilst getting him to write in a structured way.

I hope she will work with my children again when needed.
