About Max
Hi! I’m Max, a qualified teacher (QTS) and self-published author with experience teaching creative writing and literature to students of all ages. I’ve worked with primary children, secondary students, and adult learners, helping them develop confidence, creativity, and a strong personal voice in their writing.
I combine a structured approach with a conversational, supportive style, tailoring lessons to each student’s goals.
Whether it’s storytelling, poetry, or essays, I help learners build skills, explore ideas, and enjoy the process of writing.

If you're interested in creative writing and would like to develop your skills and confidence, I am offering interactive, conversational lessons.
Each session is interactive, goal-focused, and adaptable to your level and interests. I encourage discussion, experimentation, and reflection, while providing clear guidance and practical exercises.
A typical lesson might include:
Warm-Up & Inspiration: Generating ideas, discussing prompts, or reviewing recent work.
Focused Writing Practice: Short exercises, creative projects, or structured compositions.
Feedback & Development: Constructive review to improve style, clarity, and expression.
Goal Setting: Clear objectives for progress between lessons.
Students leave lessons with improved writing skills, a stronger creative voice, and increased confidence in expressing their ideas.
