About Amanda
My first experience with drumming was playing the video game RockBand when i was a kid, and I've been hooked ever since. Since then, I have also expanded to learning the snare drum, and have a joined a highland bagpipe band.
I've been in the pipe band world for about 13 years now, and have achieved some notable successes, the most recent being a part of the winning drum corp at the top level of the 2022 World Pipe Band Championships.

I have experience playing both the kit drum and the more traditional snare drum(think marching band drum or pipe band drum). I believe that learning music should be a combination between understanding the theory behind the music and having fun and playing! I have experience teaching students anywhere from raw beginners to more advanced players. I'd love to connect if you believe we'd be a good fit!
