About Roja

Hello! I’m Roja Prabhakarrao Gurram, a qualified English teacher with a B.Ed. and 6 years of teaching experience. I have taught English to students from Classes 5 to 10 in different educational organizations.

Over the years, I have developed a student-friendly approach that focuses on making English simple, practical, and enjoyable. I believe that students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions, expressing themselves, and learning from their mistakes.

I am committed to creating a positive and supportive learning environment where every student receives attention and guidance according to their individual needs. Whether you want to strengthen your grammar, improve your vocabulary, develop your reading and writing skills, or become more confident in speaking English, I am here to support you throughout your learning journey.

I am passionate about teaching and always aim to make every lesson meaningful and engaging. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your English-learning goals!

About the lesson

My teaching approach is friendly, interactive, and student-centred. With 6 years of experience teaching English to students from Classes 5 to 10, I understand that every student learns at a different pace and has different needs.

I use simple explanations, real-life examples, conversations, activities, reading exercises, and practice tasks to make English easier and more enjoyable. I focus on developing grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, pronunciation, and overall communication skills.

A typical class begins with a short conversation or revision of the previous lesson. I then introduce the new topic using clear examples and interactive activities. Students get plenty of opportunities to participate and practise, followed by feedback and corrections. I end each class with a quick recap and, when appropriate, a small practice activity for the next lesson.

What makes me special as a teacher is my patience, positive attitude, and ability to create a comfortable learning environment. I encourage students to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn from them without hesitation. My goal is not only to teach English but also to help students become confident and independent learners.

My classes are mainly intended for school students from Classes 5 to 10. I can also support learners who want to improve their general English, communication, grammar, reading, writing, and speaking skills.
