About Hasmien
Hello! I’m a passionate and dedicated licensed teacher who truly enjoys helping students learn, grow, and become more confident in their abilities. As an educator, I believe that every student has their own unique learning style, strengths, and goals, so I aim to create a friendly, supportive, and engaging learning environment where you can feel comfortable expressing yourself and asking questions.
Although I am still building my experience in online tutoring, I am committed to bringing patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism to every lesson. I always strive to make learning enjoyable and meaningful by adjusting my lessons to suit each student’s needs and level. My goal is not only to help you improve your skills but also to encourage you to feel more confident and motivated throughout your learning journey.

My Teaching Approach
As an ESL tutor, my goal is to make learning English effective, enjoyable, and confidence-building. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and actively participating in conversations. I adapt my teaching style to each student's goals, learning pace, personality, and current English level.
Teaching Methods and Techniques
I use a combination of communicative, student-centered, and practical learning methods. My lessons focus on helping students use English in real-life situations rather than simply memorizing grammar rules.
Depending on the student's needs, I incorporate:
Conversational practice to improve speaking fluency and confidence
Grammar explanations with simple, easy-to-understand examples
Vocabulary building through everyday topics and useful expressions
Pronunciation and speaking exercises
Reading activities to develop comprehension and vocabulary
Listening exercises using practical conversations and authentic materials
Role-playing and real-life scenarios such as job interviews, travel, presentations, and workplace communication
Personalized corrections and constructive feedback
Short activities, questions, and discussions to keep lessons interactive and engaging
A Typical Lesson
A typical lesson begins with a short warm-up conversation or review of the previous lesson. This helps students feel comfortable speaking English while allowing me to identify areas that need additional practice.
Next, I introduce the main topic or learning objective for the session. We may work on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, listening, or conversation depending on the student's goals.
The main part of the lesson is highly interactive. Students practice what they have learned through guided conversations, exercises, questions, role-plays, and real-life situations. I provide corrections and explanations along the way without interrupting the student's confidence or flow.
At the end of the lesson, we review the key points, discuss areas for improvement, and set a simple goal for the next session. When appropriate, I also provide personalized practice activities that students can complete between lessons.
What Sets Me Apart
What makes my approach different is my focus on personalized learning and student confidence. I don't believe that every student should follow exactly the same lesson plan. Instead, I take the time to understand what each learner wants to achieve and create lessons that are relevant to their needs.
I aim to create a friendly and encouraging environment where students can speak without being afraid of making mistakes. I believe mistakes are an important part of learning, and I use them as opportunities to help students improve.
My lessons are also designed to be practical and engaging. Rather than focusing only on textbooks, I encourage students to use English in situations they are likely to encounter in their everyday, academic, or professional lives.

My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, university students, working professionals, and adult learners who want to improve their English.
I can work with beginner, elementary, intermediate, and advanced learners, and lessons can be adapted for students with different learning needs and goals.
