I have known Elise for many years, we have been friends since we were stationed together in New Mexico and overseas together as well. This is where we really got to bond over crochet and knitting! Elise has given me the confidence I needed to pick up my needles again! I had a tiny bit of experience before, but would always get frustrated and stop, but with her quick wit and patience, Elise was able to help me hit the ground running and I was able to finish my very first project, a scarf for my French Bulldog, Henry Tooter! He is not as thrilled with it as I am, but he is a good sport and wears it for a bit. I have the confidence to keep going and practice my knitting, when I get the chance. I am excited to learn new stitches as I slowly, but surely, build my confidence. I know with Elise by my side I am sure it will be smooth sailing. I wish I had her earlier so I could be further along in my journey since I want to eventually make heirloom blankets for my 3 kiddos and I am confident she will be able to guide me in not only choosing specific stitches for each one, but helping me master them as well.
