As a professional painter, my practice is a tactile exploration of semi-realism and the ethereal world of fantasy. My work is deeply rooted in the rhythmic beauty of Indian folk traditions, specifically the intricate details of Pichwai and the bold lines of Kalighat.
I specialize in evocative storytelling, using a palette that shifts between vivid brilliance and profound darkness to capture cycles of trauma and recovery. Central to my artistry is a mastery of varied materials and complex texture work. By layering mediums, I create physical depth that mirrors the layers of human memory, inviting students to discover how raw materiality can transform a canvas into a living, breathing narrative.
