About Navi

Hi, I’m a passionate guitar tutor with 12 years of teaching experience and an Associate Degree in Guitar Performance. I specialize in preparing students for Rockschool, Trinity, and university-level guitar programs, helping them succeed with confidence. Whether you're aiming for grades, auditions, or personal mastery, I tailor each lesson to your goals and musical interests. My approach blends solid technique with creative expression, so students not only play well but feel connected to their music. I believe every guitarist has a unique voice, and my mission is to help you discover and strengthen it. I cover everything from fretboard theory and sight-reading to improvisation and stylistic versatility. Performance is a key part of my teaching. I guide students through stage presence, tone crafting, and expressive playing, preparing them to shine in any setting. I also encourage original composition and experimentation as a way to grow musically. I work with students of all levels and backgrounds. Whether you’re starting out or looking to refine your skills for professional pathways, I’m here to support your journey. Let’s build your technique, explore your sound, and unlock your potential together. Let me know if you'd like a version [focused on beginner students](f) or [geared toward advanced players](f).

About the lesson

As a dedicated guitar tutor with over 12 years of experience, I offer dynamic, technique-focused lessons tailored to inspire creativity and confidence. My sessions are especially engaging for electric guitar enthusiasts and those preparing for live performance or studio work. I specialize in helping learners develop expressive phrasing, tone control, and improvisational skills—no matter their starting point.

My teaching blends foundational technique with real-world musical application, using amp simulators, chord diagram apps, and digital audio workstations (DAWs) to bring learning to life. Whether you're picking up the guitar later in life or fine-tuning your sound as a recording artist, I’ll guide you step-by-step toward your goals.

Lessons are personalized yet structured, and I align them with music curriculum standards when needed. I also offer small group sessions that encourage collaboration, build timing, and develop ensemble skills. Students benefit from flexible digital resources for practice between sessions, including interactive tabs and track playbacks.

My goal is not just to teach songs but to help each student find their voice on the guitar. I create a space where every learner feels supported, challenged, and empowered to grow. With patience, energy, and the right tools
