About Amy

As a dedicated law student, I have successfully leveraged my skills in critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving to provide effective English and Maths tutoring to students across two schools over the past four years. My own academic performance serves as a testament to my proficiency in these subjects, having earned a level 6 in both English and Maths (IEB) during my matriculation.

In my capacity as a tutor, I am known for my unwavering work ethic, diligent approach to time management, and exemplary organizational skills. As a kind and patient instructor, I am always eager to provide guidance and support to my students, ensuring that they feel comfortable and confident in their ability to learn and succeed.

n my free time, I enjoy engaging in various activities that contribute to my personal growth and development. Specifically, I enjoy reading literature, socializing with friends, exercising, and volunteering my time to help others.

Reading provides me with an opportunity to expand my knowledge and broaden my perspectives, while socializing with friends allows me to develop strong relationships and foster a sense of community. Exercise is an essential aspect of my self-care routine, helping me to maintain good physical and mental health. Finally, I find great fulfillment in offering my time and skills to help others, a commitment that underscores my dedication to making a positive impact in the world.

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on providing fundamental concepts and techniques to students, enabling them to apply these skills to their schoolwork and improve their grades by 10%. Emphasizing foundational knowledge is an effective way to enhance students' understanding and prepare them for more advanced concepts. As an educator, I am characterized by my approachable, supportive demeanor, friendly and patient manner, and willingness to assist students in any way possible.

My approach prioritizes fostering a strong rapport with my students, thereby creating an open and approachable environment for them to seek assistance with any concerns or inquiries. By cultivating this relationship, I aim to facilitate effective communication and facilitate students' understanding of the material. Additionally, I strive to imbue a love for the English language and literature in my students by employing creative and engaging teaching strategies that inspire them to explore and read beyond their required coursework.
