About Jade
Hi! I’m a piano tutor with over 9 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Classical Piano. I offer personalized lessons designed to suit each student’s goals, skill level, and musical interests. My teaching covers chord theory, ear training, improvisation, and performance skills to help students grow both technically and creatively. I work with students at all levels—from complete beginners to advanced players, including those aiming for mastery. I have experience teaching a variety of styles, including classical, jazz, pop, and more. My lessons are supportive, engaging, and structured to build confidence while keeping learning fun. I focus on helping students develop a deep understanding of music, as well as a passion for playing the piano. Improvisation and creative expression are always encouraged, allowing each student to explore their unique musical voice. I provide real-time feedback, practical exercises, and repertoire that inspires growth. My goal is to make every lesson meaningful and enjoyable, ensuring steady progress. I love guiding students as they achieve milestones, perform pieces, and discover new musical possibilities. Let’s start learning together and explore the joy and creativity of playing the piano!

My teaching approach is built around structured skill-building, helping students develop strong foundations while keeping lessons fun and engaging. I focus on chord progressions, scale work, and rhythmic exercises to strengthen technique and musical understanding. Repertoire expansion is an important part of my method, allowing students to explore pieces they love while gradually increasing in difficulty.
I provide real-time feedback during lessons, ensuring that mistakes are corrected immediately and progress is reinforced. My practice routines are designed to be engaging and manageable, encouraging consistent growth without overwhelming the student. I emphasize musicality as much as technical skill, helping students connect emotionally with the music they play.
I tailor lessons to suit each learner’s goals and pace, making sure they feel confident and motivated. I encourage creativity and personal expression, supporting students as they experiment with styles and improvisation. For those drawn to popular and contemporary music, I guide them in mastering chord-based playing, riffs, and melodies with ease.
I celebrate achievements, big or small, and focus on building a lasting passion for piano. Lessons are structured but flexible, adapting to the student’s evolving interests. My aim is to help every student grow technically, creatively, and musically. I make sure they leave each session inspired to play more.
