About Madeleine
I am a supportive and understanding tutor who knows firsthand how difficult Psychology can feel at the beginning. When I first started studying it, I found the amount of content, theories, and case studies overwhelming and sometimes tedious to remember. However, through consistent practice, trial-and-error revision techniques, and learning how to properly structure my understanding, I was able to build confidence and recognise patterns within the subject that made everything easier to understand.
Because of my own experience, I understand that every student learns differently and that struggling with a topic does not mean you are incapable. My goal is to help students feel less overwhelmed, improve their confidence, and develop effective ways of revising and understanding Psychology that genuinely work for them. I aim to create lessons that are supportive, patient, and worthwhile, especially because students are putting extra time and effort into improving outside of school.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual learning style, helping them build confidence and develop a deeper understanding of psychology. I provide support for GCSE and A-Level Psychology students, including revision techniques, essay structure, exam preparation, and understanding key psychological theories and studies. Lessons are typically one hour long and are designed to be engaging, supportive, and productive. I aim to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and improving at their own pace while developing effective study habits and stronger analytical skills.
