About Liyaana

I am an experienced and patient tutor who also specializes in supporting students with special educational needs. I am passionate about creating a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment where every student can thrive.

I adapt my teaching methods to suit each learner’s individual needs, whether they require extra time, structured guidance, or creative approaches to understanding concepts. My goal is to build confidence, independence, and a genuine love for learning

About the lesson

My Sinhala lessons are designed to be simple, practical, and enjoyable for every student. I focus on helping you build real confidence in using the language, not just memorizing words.

I am fluent in English and French, which allows me to clearly explain Sinhala concepts to a wider range of students and make learning easier, especially for beginners.

Each lesson is tailored to your level and goals. If you’re a beginner, we’ll start with basic vocabulary, pronunciation, and simple conversations. If you’re more advanced, we’ll work on improving fluency, grammar, reading, and writing skills.

I use a mix of teaching methods including:Interactive conversations
Step-by-step explanations

Pronunciation practice

Lessons are always relaxed and supportive, so you can learn without pressure and ask questions freely.
