About Medha

Hi, I'm Medha Karra, a 20-year-old Architecture student at Heriot-Watt University Dubai, currently maintaining a First Class academic record. Architecture is a discipline deeply rooted in Mathematics, Physics, and spatial thinking, which means these subjects aren't just things I studied, they're tools I actively use and understand at a higher level every day.
I started tutoring because I genuinely love the moment a difficult concept finally makes sense to a student. I remember sitting with equations and formulas that felt impossible, and discovering that the right explanation changes everything. That experience is what drives me to teach. I don't just want students to pass their exams, I want them to walk into the exam hall feeling prepared, confident, and in control.
Being a university student myself, I understand the pressure students face, the late-night panic before a test, the frustration of a concept that just won't stick. I bring that relatability into every session, combined with strong subject knowledge in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics up to Grade 10. My sessions are patient, structured, and genuinely student-first.

Using techniques like the Feynman method (students explain concepts back in their own words), concept mapping to visually link ideas, and real-world application bridging (think kitchen chemistry and everyday physics), I make abstract topics genuinely click. Regular error-analysis sessions help students understand not just what they got wrong, but why, while spaced recap quizzes ensure concepts stick long after the lesson ends.
