About Alisha

I am a dedicated and patient tutor with over two years of experience helping students improve their understanding of GCSE Maths and Computer Science. My goal is to make learning an enjoyable and rewarding experience by breaking down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-follow steps. With 8 GCSEs and currently in my final year of studying IT at college, I have a strong academic background and a deep understanding of the subjects I teach. About the lesson

My Approach to Tutoring I focus on identifying each student's weaknesses and turning them into strengths through a personalised learning plan. My teaching method involves breaking down difficult concepts into simple steps, using real-world examples, and practising exam-style questions to build confidence and understanding. I encourage an interactive approach where students actively engage in problem-solving rather than just memorising formulas or facts. Lesson Structure Each lesson lasts one hour and is tailored to the student’s needs. I begin by assessing their current understanding, identifying areas that need improvement, and then focusing on those topics with clear explanations, guided practice, and interactive exercises. Regular progress checks help ensure steady improvement. My Qualifications & Experience I have over two years of experience tutoring students in GCSE Maths and Computer Science. I hold 8 GCSEs and am currently in my final year of studying IT at college, giving me a strong foundation in both subjects and the ability to explain concepts in a relatable way. Who Are My Lessons For? I offer tutoring for GCSE students (ages 13-16) who need help strengthening their understanding of Maths and Computer Science, whether they are struggling with specific topics or aiming to improve their overall grades.
