About Claire

I am a passionate Degree qualified online ESL (English Second Language) teacher with a Level 5 TEFL qualification.

My love for teaching is seen in my students' achievements and their continued desire to learn from me - I am flexible in my approach to their needs and requirements, making sure classes are interactive and fun whilst learning plenty along the way too.

We focus on accuracy, fluency, pronunciation, grammar structures and vocabulary, as well as the four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. Some of my students and I concentrate on Business English, General English, English for relocation purposes as well as Exam Preparation - IELTS.

Revision, which is done regularly, is key to my teaching style. All of this helps my students to become confident and self-assured in their use of the English language.

I adore the students that I have met on my online teaching journey and am grateful for the wealth of experience I have gathered along the way too. I hope to see you in my class soon!

Whether you are new to learning the English language or need to develop your English skills even further, I am here to assist YOU and to help you every step of the way.

You may be relocating to a new country or going on holiday somewhere, have exams to prepare for or want to improve your fluency and pronunciation. You may even have children who want to learn more English. Just call on me!

I hold a degree in Economic History and Sociology and have qualified with TEFL, UK gaining a 168-hour level 5 Teaching Merit Certificate.

I have also completed the TEFL, UK, 10-hour Teaching Practical course as well as a 30-hour Teaching English Online (1-1) course. I have been teaching online for over a year now and adore my students and love the experience I have gained along the way!

My aim is for you to get the most out of our lessons together and to grow your confidence in learning English as a second language so that you can reach your desired goals.

My teaching approach will be tailored to meet your needs. Classes will be lively, fun and interactive with lots of time to practice all that you have learnt too! I look forward to creating exciting and engaging lessons to motivate you and to help you learn more effectively.

I will provide general English lessons and assist you to become the best you can be at listening, speaking, reading and writing English - let's reach your goals together.
