I have been Giulia's supervisor since her Masters course in 2014 and then I supervised her during her Ph.D. Over the years, she has proved to be reliable, punctual, determined and very efficient. She dealt with the difficulties she encountered in the appropriate way and managed to be successful despite the challenges presented to her. As module leader of one of the courses she taught as visiting lecturer, I tested her teaching skills and I can guarantee that she is capable of teaching in an engaging fashion and of developing stimulating teaching material. She is also calm and approachable, thus in her classes, she always managed to establish a good student-teacher relation.
