Hello! My name is Shameen, and I am a Health Sciences graduate with extensive experience tutoring high school and university students in STEM and Religion/Philosophy. My Approach as a Tutor Teaching Methodology & Techniques I believe every student learns differently, so my approach focuses on adapting lessons to individual needs. I break down complex concepts into simple, relatable explanations, often using real-world examples and visual aids. I encourage active learning through discussion, problem-solving, and practice questions, making sure students not only memorize but also understand the “why” behind the material. A Typical Lesson Plan Warm-up / Recap (5–10 minutes): Reviewing previous material and addressing any difficulties. Core Lesson (30–40 minutes): Introducing new topics with explanations, step-by-step guidance, and interactive examples. Practice & Application (15–20 minutes): Working through exercises, case studies, or exam-style questions. Wrap-up (5–10 minutes): Summarizing key takeaways, clarifying doubts, and assigning light practice for retention. What Sets Me Apart I have a strong background in Health Sciences and experience tutoring both high school and university students. I integrate knowledge from my work in clinical research, public health, and philosophy, giving students a well-rounded perspective.
